I am based in Shooters Hill, in Greenwich. If this location is not convenient for you, I do offer phone and online sessions.
I am based 5 minutes' walk from the 89, 244 and 486 bus routes on Shooters Hill Road. The closest bus stops are Memorial Hospital and Shooters Hill/The Bull.
You are free to park on the road outside. Please be aware that space availability can fluctuate throughout the day and so you may need to walk a short distance.
I can not offer step-free access to my counselling room, but I am happy to work with you via online or phone.
My sessions are 50 minutes long.
I am not able to offer longer sessions than 50 minutes, but we can work to accommodate your needs within the standard session length if necessary.
I strongly recommend having six sessions to start with; after this point we will review and determine if you may benefit from further sessions.
All sessions, whether face-to-face, online or phone-based, are £50.
The best way to pay is via bank transfer. I will provide you with my bank details once we have arranged a session. Payment should be the day before the session.
If you know in advance that you are not going to be able to make a session time then please let me know as soon as possible so we can rebook. Please aim to let me know 24 hours in advance; short-notice cancellations (barring emergencies) may still be charged.
I am not able to offer a space to wait, so please do not aim to arrive long before your session time.
If you are running late, please let me know as soon as is convenient. Please note that our session will still end at the originally-intended time.
If you miss a session, I will contact you to check that everything is okay. Please let me know if there are any issues as soon as possible. Missed sessions without notice will still be charged. Note that if you miss two sessions in a row then I may terminate our contract.
Please let me know as soon as you wish to end our sessions. I recommend having at least one final session in order to reflect on your journey and to bring closure to the counselling relationship.
While I am experienced in working with young people from 11 up, I do not presently work with children under this age.
I do not presently offer couples counselling, though I am happy to work with individual clients in regards to relationship concerns.

Yes; whether you wish to explore your gender identity in a safe, non-judgemental space, or to simply know that your identity will be respected while working through other topics, I believe in recognising your whole being.
It's important that you have the right counsellor for you. If you have concerns about our work together, please raise this and we can discuss whether to change our approach or refer to you to another counsellor.
